PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material separation device which can easily change the motion.SOLUTION: A material separation device 1 comprises a placement part 2, a blow part 3, a suction part 4, a suction pad drive part 5, a storage part 13, a selection part 90, and a controller 10. The blow part 3 blows out air to a plurality of aluminum sheets 11 placed on the placement part 2 to float at least a part of an aluminum sheet 11 on the uppermost surface. The suction pad drive part 5 uses a servo motor 50 as a driving source to drive respective suction pads 411 vertically. The storage part 13 stores a plurality of motions to lift the suction pad 411 sucking the aluminum sheet 11 to a conveyance position (h2). The selection part 90 selects one of the motions. The controller 10 performs control to lift the suction pad 411 to the conveyance position on the basis of the selected motion. A speed to lift the suction pad 411 after the aluminum sheet 11 is sucked is different for each motion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
