PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device capable of maintaining the excellent cleaning performance over time, an image formation apparatus and a process cartridge.SOLUTION: A cleaning device includes cleaning blades 62 composed of strip-shaped elastic blades and having surface layers composed of ultraviolet curable resins in the vicinity of a tip ridge part 62c of a blade lower surface 62b facing a cleaning object 3 and in the vicinity of a tip ridge part 62c of a tip surface 62a in parallel to the thickness direction of the elastic blade 62, respectively, and brings the tip ridge parts 62c into contact with the surface of the cleaning object 3 performing surface migration to remove particulate matters from the surface of the cleaning object 3. The cleaning device includes a lubricant application mechanism on the upstream part or the downstream part of the cleaning device, and forcibly supplies the lubricant to the cleaning blade contact portion by increasing the cleaning angle by 3-8 degrees in the preliminary operation in which the image formation operation is not executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
