PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a coordinate designation to be input to a computer of a game machine or the like in a state where a fixed table including a desk or the like is not required and a signal inputting device remains in a hand of a player and a relationships of positions of a pointing device and a finger of the player to be simply maintained. SOLUTION: The signal inputting device comprises a track ball 12, a grip 24, a trigger on which a forefinger of the player lies in a state of the forefinger extending from the root to the second joint while the player holds the grip 24 and a track ball base 26 in which the track ball base 26 is fixed on an upper part of the grip 24, and the track ball 12 is fixed on an upper face of the track ball base 26, and from a side of the track ball base 26 it comes into contact with at least a part of the forefinger from the root to the second joint in a state of the forefinger lying on the trigger while the player holds the grip 24.
