PURPOSE:To eliminate the malfunction of a copying machine, and to reinforce a bearing with carbon fiber, etc., and improve the strength by using a bush the heat insulating material of a heat roller as a grounding device. CONSTITUTION:The bush 6 made of a resin incorporated with a low electric resistance material is arranged between both ends of the heat roller 1 and the bearing 4. Consequently, the electrostatically charged potential of the roller 1 is lowered to eliminate a discharging phenomenon, so malfunction is evaded. For example, the charged potential of the roller 1 having the bush 6 formed by incorporating, for example, 30% carbon fibers in PPS resin is held at <=50V. This attains to 500V usually by the contact rotation of the roller 1 and a pressure roller 2, but only low level charge is required. When charge with a high voltage is performed, the charge cause a discharging phenomenon and an electric noise at this time exerts evil influence upon respective control circuits of a main copying machine body, but this is also prevented. |
