PURPOSE:To improve the transmission efficiency by decreasing the ''fill'' code to be transmitted. CONSTITUTION:When the transmission of picture information is started, at first succeeding to ''EOL'' code the picture information D1-1 of the 1st line of the 1st original is transmitted and the picture information D1-1 is recorded on the 1st line of the 1st recording paper. When the 1st line picture information Dn-1 of the n-th original is transmitted similarly, the information is compared with, e.g., one scanning line minimum transmission time T, and whether or not the ''fill'' code is transmitted additionally is decided. That is, a time T0(T1-1+T2-1+-Tn-1) and the minimum transmission time T are compared, and when T0<T, the ''fill'' code F1 is added for a time corresponding to (T-T0), and when T0>=T, no ''fill'' code F1 is added and the process is transferred to the transmission of the next picture information D1-2. Similarly, the picture information is transmitted and up to the picture information of the m-th line of the n-th original is read and transmitted. |
