DISPLACEMENT SENSOR USING DIELECTRIC RESONATOR

PURPOSE:To enable the sensing of external changes including vibration, pressure, temperature and the like in terms of changes in resonance frequency by varying the resonance frequency according to displacement of an affected member. CONSTITUTION:Vibration of a voice or the like is translated to mechanical vibration with a piezo-electric transducer 7 to vary the resonance frequency by making a metal vibration plate 9 approach or separate from a dielectric resonator 2. This enables the sensing of vibration of voice or the like in terms of changes in the resonance frequency. The replacement of the piezo-electric transducer 7 with a bellows or a bimetal allows the sensing of changes in the pressure and temperature.
