Cooling air ducting through the engine compartment (1) of motor vehicles, with a drive assembly (2) around which cooling air flows and which assembly is enclosed on all sides by the walls of the engine compartment (1) except for inlet and transfer apertures (3, 3') through which cooling air flows.
