PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifying apparatus which can obtain pure water of good quality, can save the amount of a regenerant, has a simple structure and can efficiently carry out desorption of silica. SOLUTION: A membrane deaerator (21) is arranged between a cation exchange tower (11) and an anion exchange tower (31). The anion exchange tower (31) is packed at least with a strong basic anion exchange resin, and a space part equivalent to dilation during regeneration of the resin is provided at the upper part of the packed layer. Water in the anion exchange tower (31) flows downward, regeneration is carried out by an upward flow, and pressed water is supplied by the upward flow before the feed of the regenerant to transfer the strong basic anion exchange resin to the space part. The anion exchange tower (31) is provided with a means for heating the regenerant and the water for regeneration, and is further provided with pipeline which feeds the regenerant and the water for regeneration before or after warming to the anion exchange tower (31) via the membrane deaerator (21). |
