PURPOSE:To obtain a good image free from ghost, flare, etc., by providing a hood moving mechanism and moving a hood to the field angle position corresponding to the moving position of a photographic lens in accordance with movement of the photographic lens. CONSTITUTION:A zoom lens L1 is set to a camera body, and a zooming ring 24 is operated for zooming and a distance ring 42 is operated for focusing respectively from the external in case of photographing. Then, zooming information and distance information are obtained by encoders, and such extent of feed-out of a hood 90 is operated on the bases of these information by an operating circuit that the hood 90 can most effectively intercept the harmful light with respect to set zooming and focusing data, and an ultrasonic motor is rotated in accordance with this extent. Since the hood 90 is fed out in accordance with the result, the harmful light is always most effectively intercepted in case of zooming and focusing.
