PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a software, by selecting an address data to be supplied to a microprogram from either an output data from a microprogram sequencer, or the output data from an incrementor. CONSTITUTION:When, for example, a logic operation circuit is selected as a target hardware, since a target hardware selection signal S/F representing the fact that the target hardware not being operated at high speed is selected, is outputted from an pipeline register 3, only the program sequencer 1 is placed under a state permitted to be outputted, and the incrementor 4, and a runaway preventing part 6 are placed under the state not permitted to be outputted, and also, a selector 5 selects a first clock signal CLK1. Adversely, when a hardware which performs only write data on a memory is selected, the target hardware selection signal S/F representing the fact that the target hardware being operated at a high speed is selected, is outputted from the pipeline register 3.
