At this time, since a voltage comparator 50 detects a deviation (Vr2-Vs) because a diode dropper of one stage is inserted to a terminal voltage VL, an operation circuit 70 sends a signal to insert the diode dropper of two stages to the voltage compensation circuit 60, and one stage of remaining two bypassing switches of the voltage compensation circuit 60 is opened, and all of the diode droppers of two stages are inserted between the converter circuit 10 and the output terminal of the power unit 1. As a result, voltage drop in a load cable 4 can be compensated at the power unit 1 side.
