PURPOSE:To allow easy formation of a water stop weir in a pipe by composing it from an outer cylindrical part, an inner cylindrical part provided in it, and an end face part to enclose the ends of these outer and inner cylindrical parts, and by swelling it by means of air injection in it. CONSTITUTION:A water stop weir 11 for pipeline is accomplished in the form of an air bag consisting of an outer cylindrical part 12, an inner cylindrical part 13 in the inside, and end face parts 14a, 14b at both ends to seal the part between the end of the inner cylindrical part 13 and the outer cylindrical part 12, and each part is made of rubber impregnated woven cloth etc. without draftiness. One of the end face parts 14a is provided with an air inlet/outlet 15 with a valve while the other end face part 14b is provided with a stop ring 16 for the water stop weir 11. A seal band 17 such as foam rubber is provided at the periphery of the outer cylindrical part 12. This requires only provision in the pipeline and swelling with air to form a water stop weir in the pipeline, which can be accomplished very easily and with minor labor. |
