<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for dialing a dial number for each occasion and to prevent mis-dialing by loading a telephone card to a public telephone set and storing a telephone number corresponding to an abbreviated dial code through key operation. CONSTITUTION:A new telephone card 1 is loaded to a card loading/ejecting port 7 of a public telephone set 4 and, for example, a telephone number of '0123-456-789-0123' is dialed to enter talking. In this case, for example, a key entry of input section 6 as '*1#' is operated. Through the key entry, '*1' is stored in an abbreviated code area of the telephone card 1 and '0123-456-789-0123' is stored in a telephone number area. When the same number is used for talking, after the loading of the telephone card 1, a call unit, an abbreviation code and a telephone number are displayed on a display section 8 by having only to depress only the abbreviation code '*1'. After the confirmation of the displayed number, when a key such as '#' is depressed, the object number '0123-456-789-0123' is automatically dialed.</p> |
