PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to generate stereo character and graphic data by providing a means which deforms and combines normal characters, pattern characters, and graphic data to generate stereo pattern characters. CONSTITUTION:A graphic deforming means 2 generates deformed character and graphic data 3 by using character and graphic data 1 to be deformed in stereo pattern and function data (a) and (b). Then the data 1 and data 3 are sent to a character and graphic generating device 4, which generate do not images 5 and 6 of characters and graphic forms before and after the deformation. In this case, the data 1 and 3 correspond to the images 5 and 6 and an image composing means 7 composes stereo characters and graphic forms of them according to function data C. Consequently, vector data on the stereo characters and graphic forms are not required, so that stereo characters and graphic forms can be generated without providing the stereo characters and graphic forms. |
