PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile composite machine that can reduce the processing time at split printing. SOLUTION: The facsimile composite machine of this invention is configured to comprise a CPU 1; a communication control section 2; a print section 3; a coding/decoding section 4; a SAF memory 5; and a page memory 6. The SAF memory 5 stores in advance offset information of code data in the case of expanding a midway page of a split page. Since this invention can start expanding MMR code data on the way, wasteful expanding processing can be omitted to reduce a time until print start. Since this invention starts a line in the horizontal mode in the expansion processing on the way of data, data of reference lines are not required and the capacity of the memory in use can be saved. Further, when a code size after re-compensation is too large to be stored in the free capacity of the memory, since the re-compressed code data are discarded to preserve the original code data, a memory full state can be avoided even when data with a greater code size are received. |
