PURPOSE:To obtain the film prominent in various characteristics because of the orientation at sufficiently low temperature by a method wherein a composition, consisting principally of a specified copolymer of vinyl aromatic series hydrocarbon and aliphatic series unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative, is employed. CONSTITUTION:The composition, consisting principally of the copolymer of vinyl aromatic series hydrocarbon and at least one kind of aliphatic series unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative selected from aliphatic unsaturated carboxylic acid alkyl ester or the same ester but a part of which is carboxylic acid and having Vicat softening point which is not exceeding 90 deg.C, is mixed with addition agent such as slip agent, chemical destaticizer, blend, premixing or the like. The composition is extruded continuously by a circular die or the like and is cooled suddenly once to produce a raw fabric while the raw fabric is reheated and oriented continuously by bubble forming method or tentering method. |
