A temperature measurement device comprises an optical system 2 which images the heat radiation emanating from an object onto a detector 1 for conversion of the radiation into an electrical signal, a heat-conducting temperature equalisation element 3 which keeps the detector 1 and the optical system 2 at a common temperature, a temperature sensor 4 which measures the temperature of the temperature equalisation element, and a gas-tight housing 5 which encloses the detector 1, optical system 2, temperature equalisation element 3 and temperature sensor 4 and is filled with a gas, preferably a dry buffer gas. This avoids condensation within the detector when measuring temperatures below 0 DEG C. A copper temperature equalisation element 3 may support a Fresnel lens 2b of hygroscopic material and an IR filter 2c. Detector 1 and sensor 4 may be connected to a hybrid circuit on a ceramic plate 12. <IMAGE> |
