<p>PURPOSE: To eliminate the occurrence of juice while preventing the outbreak of a malodor by greatly reducing the vol. of garbage by providing a treatment tank, a packing material, an air blower, stirring blades and the driver thereof, the heater of the treatment tank and a deodorizing device deodorizing the gas from the treatment tank. CONSTITUTION: When garbage A is charged in a treatment tank 12 and a motor 20 is rotated and a blower 26 is operated, the garbage A and a packing material 30 are stirred and mixed to disintegrate the garbage A and brought into contact with air blown in from the blower 26 and the garbage S is aerobically and biologically decomposed by bacteria of the packing material 30. If necessary, a heater 28 is operated to hold the temp. in the treatment tank to temp. suitable for biological treatment. Air containing the gaseous component produced by the biological decomposition treatment of the garbage A and moisture evaporated from the garbage A enters a bed of activated carbon 42 from an opening 38 and various malodorous components are adsorbed and an alkaline malodorous component such as ammonia is adsorbed and removed by an acidic adsorbent 44.</p> |
