PURPOSE: To provide the information display device in which a time from the selection of a program till display on the display device is considerably reduced. CONSTITUTION: Program management data relating to a program of visual information in an FM teletext broadcast received by a reception section 10, page data for plural pages relating to the content, and data of a center control section 30 are stored in a memory section 34 and lowest limit page data relating to a program selected by the user are transferred to storage sections 41a, 42 of a display section 40 and a display device 43 of the display section 40 displays page data. The display section 40 uses a display device 43 to start display after page data of the 1st page are stored in the storage sections 41a, 42, and while the data are being displayed, page data of 2nd and succeeding pages are stored in the storage sections 41a, 42. |
