Tensioning unit for traction medium drive - having a PTFE - coated bush as stop for piston retaining ring

Traction medium drive is tensioned by an arrangement of a piston housing (9) and an outer housing (2) partly surrounding it, each having a fixing eye (3, 10) by means of which it is fixed at one end to a pivot lever, to the free end of which a tensioning roller is mounted abutting the traction drive, and at the other end is held by a support body. A piston (8) moves in a cylinder (5a) inserted in the outer housing and positioned centrally in the piston housing. A bush (14a) is inserted in the cylinder as a stop for a retaining ring (16) fitted on the piston. The push is pref. of plastic with a PTFE coating, at least on the side facing the piston.
