The bar (3) is fixed to a U-shaped top component (2) accommodating the slat (1). A fixing device (20) secures the holder (8), which incorporates two mounting plates (19) to the bar. The device comprises a connecting portion (26,27) on the holder and a lengthwise guide (13) protruding from it at the side. The guide encloses the bar, which is adjusted for height by a nut (6) holding it in the guide. The latter is in top and bottom sections, typically formed by stamping out a portion of it to form a gap in which the nut fits. A further fixing nut (4) on the bar can bear against the top section of the guide. A locking washer (5) can be provided for one or both nuts, this having a tab engaging in a groove in the guide.
