The process involves a preliminary manufacturing phase for an elementary connector (4) with a series of slots (421d,421g) in predetermined zones of the insulating body (42). A screening element (5d,5g) is made from metal sheet to cover spaces in the zones with a repetitive shape along the length of the elementary connector. N elementary connecting elements are arranged to make the connecting element and covered with the screening element which are embossed together in the spaces (50d,50g). The insulating body has a U-shaped cross-section which is screened by putting the screening elements on the arms of the U. Additionally, the second screening element may be folded longitudinally through 90 degrees .
