<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically refund the fare of a season ticket purchase ticket or a purchased ticket certificate by providing a refund means for refunding the purchase fare of the season ticket purchase ticket or the purchased ticket certificate and a means for writing data indicating that a fare is refunded into a returned season ticket when the fare is refunded. SOLUTION: When a purchased season ticket is inserted into an original ticket insertion port, fare-refunded data indicating whether the fare is refunded or not is extracted (S108). When an inserted season ticket purchase ticket is within a prescribed refund period and therefore the object of refund, and fare- refunded data is not recorded in the inserted season ticket, (S110 YES and S112 NO), money equivalent to the purchase fare of the season ticket purchase ticket is discharged to a return port through a change processing unit, and the season ticket purchase ticket is collected into a main body. Data indicating that monery on the season ticket purchase ticket is refunded is written into the season ticket through the magnetic head of an original ticket processing unit and it is returned (S114).</p> |
