PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-oriented silicon steel sheet which has both excellent magnetic properties and workability for an iron core, and to provide a production method therefor. SOLUTION: The silicon steel sheet has a composition containing <=0.005% C, 0.5 to <3% Si, >1.5 to 2.5% Mn, 1 to 3% sol.Al, <=0.1% P, <=0.005% S, <=0.005% N, 0.002 to 0.2% Sn, 0.02 to 0.3% Cu, 0.01 to 0.2% Ni, 0.01 to 0.2% Cr, 0.0005 to 0.01% V, 0.001 to 0.02% Nb, and <=0.01% Ti, and the balance Fe with impurities, and whose surface has a Vickers hardness of <=220, and, in the production method, the heating temperature and finish annealing in a slab are prescribed. |
