PURPOSE: A method of laying out of a transmission type surface acoustic wave filter is provided to make easy bonding operation by expanding the range of the grounding electrode, and to realize optimal frequency characteristics. CONSTITUTION: In a method of laying out of a transmission type surface acoustic wave filter, The first grounding electrode(G1) and a third grounding electrode(G3) are connected. The second grounding electrode(G2) and a fourth grounding electrode(G4) are connected. The point connecting the first grounding electrode(G1) and the third grounding electrode(G3) is marked as (G5). The point connecting the second grounding electrode(G2) and the fourth grounding electrode(G4) is marked as (G6). Thus, by expanding the range of the grounding area, even if part of the grounding electrodes(G3,G4) are blocked while probing test, measuring is possible and bonding is easy.
