PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device having a triangle layout is provided to suppress the opening defects of data lines through the redundancy function, thereby increasing yields. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of gate lines and data lines are provided which intersect at constant interval. R, G and B dots are arranged on a pixel region formed by the data lines and the gate lines. A switching device for driving the R, G and B dots is connected with the data lines and the gate lines. The gate line is divided into a pair of gate lines. The pixel region is also divided into a plurality of pixel division regions along the pair of gate lines. Among the R, G and B sub-dots, same sub-dots are arranged horizontally along the gate lines in two of neighboring data lines. In the respective pixel division region, different R, G and B dots are arranged.
