PURPOSE: An auxiliary brake device is activated over certain speed when brake force by a brake pedal fails. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary brake part(60) has a brake pad(64) pressing on a wheel shaft(66) by an electromagnet to restrain rotary force of each wheel when a car is over certain speed and a brake pedal(21) is operated. The auxiliary brake part(60) receives speed signal from a speed detecting part(10) of a speed meter and magnetizes the electromagnet(61). The magnetized electromagnet(61) presses on/release the wheel shaft(66) by a braking arm(62) and the brake pad(64). A brake occurrence detecting part(20) turns on a high speed detecting switch(52) by electricity impressed by connecting a braking contact point(22) with a piston(24) linearly moving when the brake pedal(21) is operated to brake the car.
