PURPOSE: A brake system prevents large accident by collision with obstacles in front of a car. CONSTITUTION: A brake system comprises a sudden brake detecting device(A), a sudden turning detecting device(B), brake releasing devices(C, C') and a control part(D). The sudden brake detecting device(A) detects the intensity and speed of pedal effort given to a brake pedal. The sudden turning detecting device(B) detects steering speed and direction given to a steering handle. The brake releasing devices(C, C') detects a car suddenly braking and turning and selectively release braking hydraulic pressure given to wheel cylinders of the left/right sides on braking to enable the car to turn left/right on the sudden brake. The control part(D) is connected with the sudden turning detecting device(B) and the brake releasing devices(C, C') to directly control the brake releasing devices(C, C').
