PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable continuous execution of job processing in a client at the time of server failure. SOLUTION: A data base monitoring client 27 extracts information required for the continued execution of job processing in information stored in data bases which servers 1 to N-1 hold, periodically generates a degeneration operation data base 31 and a degeneration operation data base for stand-alone operation 32 in the server N and copies the degradation operation data base for stand-alone operation 32 into a job processing client 26. The job processing client 26 executing the job processing continues and executes the job processing by switching a data base access destination to the data base for degeneration operation 31 when any of servers 1 to N-1 is stopped with maintenance work. When a fault occurs in the server 23 or 24 or LAN 34, the job processing is continued and executed by accessing the degeneration operation data base for stand-alone operation 29.
