PURPOSE: A jog shuttle switch of a video apparatus is provided to reduce number of parts and production cost by directly mounting a jog shuttle assembly to a main board to eliminate a supplemental board for a shuttle operation. CONSTITUTION: A jog shuttle switch of a video apparatus comprises a jog shuttle assembly(20), a rotational knob(30) and rotational force relay means(40). The jog shuttle assembly(20) is mounted in a main board(2) which is installed in a main frame of the video apparatus. The rotational knob(30) is rotated forwardly and reversibly by the operation of a user, and perpendicularly installed to the jog shuttle assembly(20) through a hole(6a) in a front panel(6) fabricated to the front part of the main frame. The rotational force relay means(40) converts the rotational force of the knob(30) into the perpendicular direction, so the rotational force of the knob(30) is transmitted to the jog shuttle assembly(20).
