PURPOSE: A making method of cleansing water for the skin made from mugwort and mineral powder is provided to prevent skin aging and maintain the skin clear by eliminating waste material from the skin. CONSTITUTION: The method is characterized by the following steps : (i) getting a liquid material having a hardness of 25-40 and a hydrogen-ion concentration of 5.8-8.5 by passing natural water though the root of a Chinese matrimony vine ; (ii) making a fermented liquid of mugwort or a solution of mugwort boiled down at a medium temperature for 2-3hr and adding to the liquid material ; and then (iii) mixing the liquid material with 5-10wt% of mineral powder, a mixture of pulverized sericite, quartz, jade and hornblende. The fermented liquid of mugwort is prepared by spreading the mineral powder on a bottom of a container to prevent decay, heaping up black sugar and mugwort such as Artemisia asiatica Nakai. or Artemisia capillaris Thunb. on the mineral powder in order, and storing the container underground for more than 6month.
