METHOD FOR FILLING VEGETABLES IN BAG AND BAG FILLING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device capable of easily filling vegetables or the like of items to be packed without damaging them as much as possible. SOLUTION: A hopper (4) is arranged in such a way that it can be ascended or descended along a front surface wall (13) of a easing (1). Vegetables are fed at an upper opening of the hopper (4) and roots of the vegetables are received by a shutter plate (5) arranged at the lower part of the hopper (4). The shutter plate (5) is opened, the hopper (4) is descended, and the hopper (4) is projected into a synthetic resin bag (17) installed below the shutter plate (5). Further, the hopper (4) is operated to descend and the vegetables in the hopper (4) are descended and moved together with the synthetic resin bag (17). When the hopper (4) reaches a predetermined lower end position, a pressing roll (7) resiliently press both the synthetic resin bag (17) and the inner vegetables against a front wall (13) of the easing (1). The hopper (4) is reversed and lifted to cause the hopper (4) to be pulled out of the synthetic resin bag.
