PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic water pressure adjustor for fire hoses which enables smooth discharging of water by preventing troubles of fire extinguishers or the tearing of the fire hoses as caused by impacts of water pressure of reversed water even under the pressurization of the fire hoses during the fire extinguishing work. SOLUTION: A water pipe 3 and a bottomed water escape pipe 6 are arranged side by side through a forked connection part 4 between the first and second fire hoses 1 and 2 and made to openly communicate with each other. A front end port of the bottomed water escape pipe 6 is made to openly communicate with the water pipe 3 in the course thereof through a rotating shaft 8 freely rotatable having an L-shape passage 7 with a small-diameter gear 16 at the upper end thereof. The upper portion of the rotating shaft 21 with a check valve 23 for freely opening or closing a rear opening part of the feed water pipe thereon has a large-diameter gear 20 at the upper end thereof piercing the forked connection part 4, a chain 22 is applied on the large-diameter gear 20 and the small-diameter gear 16 and a spring 30 is slidably mounted across a slide plate 47 provided on the large-diameter gear 20 and a guide rod 29 mounted at a front upper part of the feed water pipe 3 vertically thereto 3. |
