PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a plurality of sheets of tape-like label easily and quickly based on desired registration format information inputted and set by a user. SOLUTION: When a regular label forming key is operated, a label name selection screen displaying 'call of registered file' at a lower stage is displayed. A regular format information development control is executed when an execution key is operated and since the 'call of registered file' was selected (S60: Yes), the name of a file registered at the head is displayed (S66) if a registration file is present (S64: Yes). When registration file selection control is executed and a desired registration file is selected, the entire format information of that registration file and line format information are developed in a memory and text data can be inputted.
