PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade mounting device in which a steel ball is pressed to a mounting hole of a blade to mount the blade on a slide shaft in a reciprocating cutting tool such as a reciprocating saw or the like by solving the problem of bad operability for removing the blade, resulting from that the steel ball bites into the mounting hole by cutting resistance applied to the blade. SOLUTION: This blade mounting device is provided with a clamp member 14 inserted in the mounting hole Ba of the blade B to prevent slip-off of the blade B when an operating sleeve 13 is operated in the clamping direction, and an extract pin 16 pressing the blade B in the direction of board thickness to extract the clamp member 14 from the mounting hole Ba when the operating sleeve 13 is operated in the unclamp direction.
