PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network capable of modeling three-dimensional CAD information for use in the design and manufacture of automobiles and equipment or the like and for widely distributing the information through the Internet. SOLUTION: The network includes a server-side computer 2 storing technical information for the three-dimensional CAD of mechanical or electric equipment, a user-side computer 4 for searching the technical information provided thereto, and an equipment maker/vendor side computer 5 for providing the technical information to the server-side computer 2. The computers 2, 4 and 5 are connected to the system through the Internet 3. |
