RAILWAY TICKET EXAMINING SYSTEM, METHOD, AND PROGRAM USING POSITION INFORMATION SYSTEM OF PORTABLE TERMINAL, AND RAILWAY NETWORK SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively examine a ticket and adjust a fare of a passenger without using station business machines such as a ticket vending machine, a ticket examining machine, and a fare adjusting machine requiring a large load for replacement due to defect and their periodical inspection of expensive machine parts. SOLUTION: This railway ticket examining system using a positional information system of a portable terminal obtains the positional information S1 of the portable terminal 10 from the positional information system 20 of the portable terminal 10 carried by a user US of the railway, specifies a using station of the railway used by the user US based on the positional information S1 for every portable terminal 10, and makes a CPU 30 of a computer execute a program collecting a railway fare determined from a getting-on station to a getting-off station based on the using station and adjusting it every portable terminal 10.
