SOLUTION: A draw bar expansion and shrinkage length computing part 45 reads a distance A from the center of a turn table on a tow car side stored in a first data storage part 41 to a connection part of a draw bar, a length L of the cargo, front part overhang E of the cargo from the center of the turn table on the tow car side, and rear part overhang F of the cargo from the center of a turn table on a pole trailer side to compute an expansion and shrinkage length D of the draw bar corresponding to a turn angleθof a tow car. A turn possibility judging part 47 compares an expansion limit length DTH of the draw bar stored in a second data storage part 43 with the expansion and shrinkage length D of the draw bar computed by the draw bar expansion and shrinkage length computing part 45 and judges whether the pole trailer can turn without causing the breakage of the draw bar at the turn angleθof the tow car or not.
