PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a separator or a solid electrolyte layer in a sheet type battery and to miniaturize the battery or increase electric capacity thereof by effectively using a space inside the battery. SOLUTION: Plural positive electrode sheets 1 and plural negative electrode sheets 2 are so stacked as to be alternately disposed by interposing the separator 3. The separator 3 is formed of a continuous sheet and characterized by being folded in a zigzag form so as to thread between each adjacent pair of the sheet 1 and the sheet 2.
