HIGHLY CRIMPED FALSE TWIST YARN AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly crimped false twist yarn having high bulkiness and light weight and useful for woven or knit fabric and provide a method for the production of the yarn. SOLUTION: The highly crimped false twist yarn is composed of a cellulose filament and has a shrink elongation (SB) after boiling water treatment of >=4% and the ratio of SB to the shrink elongation (S0) before boiling water treatment (SB/S0) of 0.5-10. The method for the production of the highly crimped false twist yarn comprises the false-twisting of a yarn after the application of water to the supplied yarn.
