PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-screen display device that can keep a display position of on-screen constant by recalculating a virtual screen to move the display position when the resolution of on-screen is changed. SOLUTION: In order to achieve the purpose above, the virtual on-screen covering the entire screen is set and a display position of information is decided by relative coordinates on the virtual on-screen so as to make the display position viewed from a user unchanged with respect to an optional resolution. Furthermore, even when the resolution is changed due to an external factor such as operations by the user, the virtual on-screen is set again to decide again the display position of information. Thus, when the display position of information is adjusted with respect to one resolution, the display position is kept to be the same for all the resolutions so as to remarkably reduce the development man-hours.
