The present invention relates to a cover unit for covering a substantially circular holder for holding one or more solids, liquids and/or gases, wherein the cover unit comprises a frame which takes a substantially dome-shaped form and which is constructed from a number of rod-like structural members, a flexible cover layer for arranging over the frame, the edge portion of which cover layer can be folded back over the peripheral edge of the frame, and tensioning means engaging on the edge portion for tensioning the cover layer over the frame. <IMAGE>
