The tube (500) has a frosted surface formed before or after the shaping of the tube and extending on entire cylindrical part of the tube. The frosted appearance is obtained by adhesive application. Non frosted and reflecting parts are provided for recovery of the light and sending it to the frosted part. A junction zone (503) between two opposite ends of two successive tubes is null. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a lighting tube.
