PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately detect the presence/absence of a dust collecting case and detect a mounted state of a lid body for covering the dust collecting case. SOLUTION: This self-propelled vacuum cleaner autonomously traveling and performing a cleaning is provided with the dust collecting case 36 detachably attached to a cleaner body 100A and collecting dust sucked via a suction port 32, and an upper lid body 11 attached to the cleaner body covering the dust collection case; a surface 363a of the dust collecting case facing to the lid body is provided with a case side projection part 363b projecting from the surface toward the upper lid body side; the upper lid body is provided with an engagement port 11b where the case side projection part is engaged; and the inside of the engagement port is disposed with a dust collecting case detecting sensor 51 detecting the dust collecting case 36 by the contact of the case side projection part.
