PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a disposable diaper capable of joining an elastic member to a nonwoven fabric in a highly extended state without increasing the using amount of a hot melt adhesive material and without damaging the moisture permeability of the nonwoven fabric. SOLUTION: On one surface of a first nonwoven fabric 13, the hot melt adhesive material is coated on the entire surface by the coating amount of 1 to 5g/m<SP>2</SP>by using a contact type coating device 6. Then, the elastic member 71 in the extended state for which tension per line is 75 to 120mN is clamped between both nonwoven fabrics so that the hot melt coated surface of the first nonwoven fabric 13 faces a second nonwoven fabric 12 to which flat embossing work is executed, the three of them are joined and fixed by a pinching pressure and an external wrapping material 11 is formed.
