PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the design property of a seat back and provide an occupant in a cabin with a visual comfort. SOLUTION: This vehicle seat device 10 is so constituted that a plurality of light source units 38 are embedded in a seat back pad 24, are disposed along a seat back frame 16 at a prescribed interval apart and emit illumination lights from the side of the seat back pad 24 to the side of a backrest 32. When the illumination lights are emitted from the plurality of light source units 38, the lights are lit from the backrest 32 of the seat back 14 to improve the design property of the seat back 14. If the illumination lights are emitted toward the side of the backrest 32 when the cabin is dark such as at night, an unprecedented, fantastic and healing space is formed inside the cabin by the lights to provide the occupant in the cabin with the visual comfort.
