Ftheta LENS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

An F-theta lens and an optical scanning apparatus having the same are provided to enhance location accuracy in an assembling process by forming an assembling reference surface. An F-theta lens is formed by an injection-molding manner using a mold(210,220). The F-theta lens includes a gate surface(120) formed at one side thereof. The F-theta lens further includes a two-stepped surface(130) formed at the other side opposite to the gate surface. A non-protrusive surface of the two-stepped surface is used as an assembling reference surface. The two-stepped surface is formed on the basis of a parting line(111) generated by the mold. An optical scanning apparatus includes an optical scanning housing, the F-theta lens coupled with the optical scanning housing, and a lens fixing part for fixing the F-theta lens.
