<p>An antenna device and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to have high antenna characteristics such as high sensitivity by installing an antenna element at the outermost part of a box. An antenna device(1001) includes an insulating base unit(21) and an antenna element(31). The base unit has a surface, a recess(25) formed on the surface, and a protrusion(22A) protruded from a bottom surface of the recess. The antenna element is made of a metal plate, has a hole unit to insert the protrusion of the base unit, and is caulked on the surface of the base unit by the protrusion. The antenna element has a step part(45) and a first peripheral part(43). The step part is formed on the bottom surface of the recess and has the hole unit. The first peripheral part is coupled with the step part and formed on the surface of the base unit. The protrusion of the base unit has a height lower than that of the first peripheral part of the antenna element.</p> |
