An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) combined with a desk lamp is provided to improve working environment by controlling brightness of a lamp through an inverter according to a backlight function or a desk lamp function. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) combined with a desk lamp includes an LCD panel(110), a lamp(120), an inverter(140), a case(150), and a lamp housing(130). The LCD panel displays an image. The lamp is arranged at one side of the LCD panel to illuminate the LCD panel. The inverter is arranged on a rear surface of the LCD panel and separately controls brightness of the lamp according to a backlight mode and a desk lamp mode of a monitor. The case receives and protects the LCD panel and the inverter. The lamp housing surrounds the lamp and rotates the lamp from the LCD panel.
