This invention provides a device for a fuel delivery unit. The device comprises a channel (9) for conducting a fuel flow, a filter unit arranged for filtering the fuel flow in the channel and a first non-return valve (4) arranged downstream of the filter unit (6), said first non-return valve (4) allowing the fuel to flow freely in a first direction (F) but preventing the fuel from flowing in a second direction. The device further comprises a second non-return valve (7) arranged upstream of said filter unit (6), allowing the fuel to flow freely at a first flow rate in the first direction (F) but substantially preventing the fuel from flowing in the second direction. The device also comprises leakage means (13) for allowing the fuel to flow at a second flow rate in the second direction, from a downstream side to an upstream side of the second non-return valve (7). The invention is further directed to a fuel delivery unit comprising a such a device, methods of installation and filter maintenance in such a fuel delivery unit. <IMAGE> |
